WASP version 2 from GWAVA is now available to anyone for beta testing! WASP is GWAVA’s virus filtering software for GroupWise WebAccess.

This latest version of WASP will now run on NetWare / OES and Linux^{Wikipedia.">Wikipedia." class="glossary-indicator">i}. It also runs on Windows in “remote mode.” To use this feature, GroupWise WebAccess must be running on a separate Windows Server (IIS or Apache). The GroupWise POA still needs to be running on NetWare or Linux.

GWAVA Keeps the Light on for GWGuardian Customers and Channel Partners

While not widely known, the technology behind GWGuardian was not actually developed by The Messaging Architects. In fact, GWGuardian was a re-branded version of a product called modusGate which they licensed from a company called Vircom. "Andre Charland just bought an iPhone 3G, the phone from Apple (AAPL) that hit the market on July 11. But the Canadian software executive isn't giving up his BlackBerry Pearl. He says that the BlackBerry is a "workhorse" for e-mail and phone calls, while the iPhone isn't as reliable. "I’ve just had dropped calls and issues like that," says Charland.
